Palm Sunday
Good Morning/Evening!
This week is leading us to Palm Sunday, which starts Holy Week, which goes straight to the most loving sacrifice ever for mankind....Jesus voluntarily took on the burdens of our sins and gave His life that we might have a chance of eternal life.
We celebrate Memorial Day to remember the military persons who gave their lives for our country, yet there is one sacrifice that overwhelmingly surpasses that, it is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ. He stood between humanity and sin! His love for us is unquestionable, and we should celebrate it everyday through personal worship and devotion.
On last Thursday night I attended a county-wide meeting with the Mississippi Development Authority at the Scott County courthouse. The focus was on Community Block Grant — Disaster recovery and Prevention Funding. Discussing unmet needs after a disaster and visions for the county’s future.
If you were not there you can still send your concerns to Mississippi Development Authority, Post Office Box 849, Jackson, Ms. 39205 or by Email: Disasterrecovery@mississippi.org
Include your name and address, let your thoughts be known.
