Still a Beautiful Day
Good Morning/Evening!
It’s Sunday....cold, cloudy, wet and rainy. Today feels like the day after Thanksgiving more than Friday did. After church, you get home and comfortable on the couch and start napping while watching your choice of shows. But it is a beautiful day filled with the glory of God!
I know the holiday wasn’t great for everyone, but lean into your faith. There were losses of loved ones, and holiday first without family, but we carry on with gratitude for times we shared making memories.

Sharing some of my Sunday devotion...
Have you ever been so consumed with grief that you fail to recognize grace-gifts of God’s goodness amid your loss? We discover as we grow that we must mourn what was, but not forget what is. Not become like Mary Magdalene, grieving the loss of Jesus so much that when she saw the resurrected Christ, she did not recognize Him. Jesus spoke her name, and she knew it was Him. That was a grace-gift in her grief. It is important for us to remember that Jesus is with us always in our heartbreaks. He’s not going to leave you in that state of suffering.
