Forest Public Library/Full Time Youth Services Specialist.
This full time (40 hour) position is responsible for all aspects of service to youth in the branch library. All job responsibilities are performed under the supervision of the Branch Manager.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Graduate with (2) two years of college. Associate's Degree is preferred. Knowledge of children's literature, current practices, and technology is desirable.
A minimum of (2) years work experience with children.
Good organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal effectively with the public and with other employees.
Be able to lift from 30-40 lbs.
Knowledge and experience with computers.
Salary for this position is $18,000.00 annually along with benefits.
