Mr. Bradley Wolverton, age 92, a resident of Morton passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the University Medical Center in Jackson. His visitation was held 1-2 pm Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Chapel services were held at 2 pm at Ott & Lee in Morton. There was no graveside services, burial was at Damascus Primitive Baptist Cemetery. Bro. Randall Creel officiated the service. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton.
Mr. Wolverton was born in Sebastopol, MS on July 4, 1929. He was the owner of Bradley’s Grocery Store in Forest for many years. Mr. Bradley was a Master Mason. He loved to travel and has been all over the world. Bradley also enjoyed deep sea fishing. He loved his family very much and will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. Wolverton and Laura Elizabeth Young Wolverton; 2 wives; siblings, Lee Buck, Troy, A.D. Robert L. and infant brother, Dewey Wolverton, Charity Perkins, Audie Tatum and Allie Mae Duncan.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Jones Wolverton of Morton; children, Andy Wolverton and wife, Cindy of Maryland and Bob Wolverton and wife, Lynda of TX; 2 step children, Tony Jones of Morton and Joey Jones (Patricia) of Morton; numerous grandchildren and 1 great grandchild and a host of friends.
