Charles Patrick “Pat” May, 52, a resident of Pelahatchie, MS passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at his home in Pelahatchie, MS. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at Ott and Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, MS with interment at Antioch Steele Primitive Baptist Church in Forest, MS. Visitation was held Tuesday, June 18, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 12:00 p.m -.1:45 p.m. at the funeral home in Brandon, MS.
Pat was born September 9, 1966 to Charles Robert May and Barbara Stewart May Cornelison. He was in the construction industry many years after he graduated from high school. Pat enjoyed singing Karaoke and being with family and friends. He loved his children, grandchildren, mother and siblings and spending time with them brought great joy to his life. He will be missed by all who loved and knew him.
Pat was preceded in death by his father, Charles Robert May and his grandparents, Mark and Neva May and Wilson and Penny Bounds.
Pat is survived by his children, Kristin May, Chandler May and Charles May; mother, Barbara (John W.) Cornelison; his aunt, Nancy May Rogers; siblings, Ricky May, Angie Moore, Johnny Cornelison, Linda Pickard, Brenda Pruitt and Wanda Bynum; grandchildren, Brayden May, Gentry May, Gabbie Allen and Kyrie May; mothers of his children, Elizabeth Stennett Little and Sherri Karsten-May; many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
Serving as pallbearers were Timothy May, Lee May, Jeremy May, Ed May, Jr., Jonathan May, and Ed May, Sr.
Serving as honorary pallbearers were Ricky May, Donna Rogers, Kevin Rogers and Bobby Tadlock.

Glen Howard Braswell Sr.
(February 13, 1949 - June 9, 2019)
Funeral services for Glen Howard Braswell Sr., 70, of Lake, formerly of Poplar Creek, were held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, in the Oliver Funeral Home Chapel. Burial followed in Bear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery near McCool, with military honors at graveside. Rev. Rupert Ingram officiated the services. Visitation was Thursday, from 1:00 p.m. until service time, at the funeral home.
Glen went home to be with the Lord on June 9, 2019, at his home of 20 years in Lake, after battling with diabetes, cancer, kidney failure, heart attacks, and heart failure.
Glen grew up in Kilmichael. He proudly served our country in Vietnam as a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps. He spent the last 45 years working in construction and built hundreds of bridges across Mississippi, as well as in Alabama, Louisiana, and Arkansas.
Glen loved being outdoors, especially deer hunting. He enjoyed gardening and tinkering with his tractors.
Glen was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Earline Braswell; and his daughter, Jennifer Lue Braswell. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lue Braswell; his son, Glen Howard Braswell Jr. of Lake; one grandson; one aunt; and a large and loving extended family.
