Douglas was a man of many talents and a very hard worker. He devoted himself to every job he tackled. He enjoyed working at the family farm, in chicken houses, cutting grass, hanging out with friends and family, and riding seadoos. Douglas was a part of the Raleigh & Sylvarena Vol. Fire Depts, the Town of Raleigh, Raleigh High School, and started pipelining for Crossfire. If you knew Douglas then you knew he was a man of his word. Douglas was a very caring and giving young man who loved his family unconditionally. Douglas would give you the shirt off of his back. If you ever went to a Raleigh High School football game, then you would see Douglas standing on the side lines supporting his boys. There is no doubt that Douglas was everyone’s son and brother. Most people could live 100 years and not leave behind the extraordinary legacy this young man did in just 20 years! He will be greatly missed by so many people.
