Mr. Doyle Lee Fisher, 63, died on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at his residence.
Visitation was held from 9:30 a.m. -11:30 a.m. Saturday, September 23, 2017, at Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol. Graveside services were held Saturday, September 23, 2017, 12 noon at Damascus Cemetery. Adam Boykin officiated.
Survivors include his wife of 40 years, Renae Watkins Fisher of Sebastopol. Son, Alex Fisher of Port Lavaca, TX; Daughter: Haley Boykin and husband Adam of Sebastopol; four grandchildren, Presley, Fisher, Taylor, and Everly; three brothers: Don Fisher and late wife Becky of Sebastopol; Phillip Fisher and wife Libby of Brookhaven; Rob Fisher and wife Nancy of Brookhaven. He is also Survived by several nieces and nephews
Mr. Fisher was preceded in death by his parents C.S. (Spurgeon), Gladys Fisher and his nephew, Wade Fisher.
Mr. Fisher was a retired farmer and small business owner. He was Baptist by faith. He will be remembered for his quick wit. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, Mississippi State Football and Baseball. He also enjoyed being with his family and pets.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials are made to Philippine Missions or Wade Fisher Memorial Scholarship Fund at Sebastopol Baptist Church, P.O. Box 163, Sebastopol, MS 39359.
