Mr. Harace Lamar Barton age 81, passed away Friday December 18, 2020 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS. A visitation was held on Monday December 21, 2020 from 5:30 PM until 7:00 PM at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS. A private, family only funeral service was held on Tuesday December 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Lake, MS. Reverend Jerry Holmes will officiate.
Mr. Barton had lived in the Forest, MS area since 1970. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Forest, MS. He enjoyed going to the auction and car shows and he enjoyed visiting his home place in North Mississippi. He loved to spend time with and spoil his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife Janie Carolyn Barton his parents; Edgar Ottis Barton and Gladys Littlejohn Barton; his brother, Edgar Julius Barton.
He is survived by his three children, Becky Rockhill (Vic) of Forest, MS, Butch Barton (Kay) of Forest, MS, Brett Barton (Molly) of Frederick, MD; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
