Harlan Byram Jr.

Services for Mr. Harlan Byram Jr. will be held at 11:00 am Wednesday, November 28, 2018, at Milling Funeral Home Chapel of Sebastopol. Burial will be held in the Old White Plains Church Cemetery

Rev. Don Savell, Rev. Larry Duncan, and Rev. Guy McGarrity will be officiating.

Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27, 2018, at Milling Funeral Home of Sebastopol.

Mr. Harlan Byram, Jr., age 70, of Sebastopol, passed away on November 25, 2018.

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years: Sandra Byram of Sebastopol; five sons, Matt Byram (Faith) of Sebastopol, Dan Byram ( Emily) of Sebastopol, Ben Byram (Carrie) of Sebastopol, Burt Byram (Natalie) of Sebastopol, and Jeff Byram (Jeannie) of Paducah, KY; six grandchildren: Aubrey Byram; Mattie Byram; Callie Byram; Jansen Byram; Justin Byram; and Jeffery Byram; one Great-grandson: Brantley Byram; and mother-in-law; Anelia Fredrick. He is also survived by two aunts: Virginia Rushing and Allie Mae Creel

Mr. Harlan is preceded in death by his parents: D.H. and Doris Byram.

Pallbearers were Charlie Wilson, Randy Brunson, Jamie Brunson, Andrew Boleware, Jason Boleware, and Sean Hillman. Honorary Pallbearers were Sherman Stephens, Junior Burrows, Wink McDill, and James Hamil.

Harlan was a member of the Sebastopol Baptist Church and was baptized as a youth. He was a born again Christian and enjoyed reading his bible.

Harlan grew up on a dairy farm and later followed in the footsteps of his father and became a truck driver. He and Mr. D.H. Byram Sr. were owner operators of 18 wheelers for many years. They later owned 10 chicken houses and a dirt contracting company. In 2004 he decided to enter the trucking field again under its current name Byram Trucking.

Harlan enjoyed dirt track racing, a sport he participated in during his younger years. He was most happy spending time with family and friends at the race track.

His greatest gift was eternal life...his greatest accomplishment was his family!
