Mr. Larry Leach, age 66, passed away on Sunday, July 15, 2018 at UMMC in Jackson, MS. Visitation was held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday July 17, 2018 at Wolf Funeral Services in Lake, MS and Wednesday July 18, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:50 a.m. at Hazel Baptist Church in Lake, MS. Funeral Services were held Wednesday July 18, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Hazel Baptist Church in Lake, MS. Officiating was Bro. Victor Bugg, Bro. Randall Creel, and Bro. Sam Taylor. Graveside services followed.
Mr. Leach was a lifelong resident of the Gibbstown Community in Newton County. He was a member of Hazel Baptist Church in Lake, MS. He loved his grandchildren very much and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and ride motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by father, Charlie Lewis Leach; brother in law, Claude Brown; and mother in law, Jeanette Davis; he is survived by wife, Marsha Leach of Lawrence, MS; mother, Gladys Leach of Lawrence, MS; two sons, Christopher Leach (Niki) of Morton, MS; Joshua Walker of Lake, MS; daughter, Lynn Brown (Terry) of Lake, MS; sister, Betty Walker (C.W. Sanderson) of Lawrence, MS; eight grandchildren, Ethan Walker, Tyler Bray, Taylor Walker “Baby Girl”, Dawson Brown, Audrianna Moore “Toots”, Tyler Derrick, Aubree Stokes, Bianca Carey, two great grandchildren, Aiden Massey, and Easton Carey.
Pallbearers were Ethan Walker, Joshua Walker, Alton Gibbs, Dawson Brown, Randy Parks, David Mabry, and Mark Bradshaw. Honorary pall bearers will be Terry Brown, J.D. Phillips, Shelton Porter, Austin Kyzar, Allen Dansby, and Billy Valentine.
