Lotta L. McCombs, 84 (September 23rd, 1933) daughter of the late Guy Clifton and Edythe Jones McCombs, previous resident of Lake, Mississippi and Norwood, Louisiana, passed peacefully into the Heavenly realm on Good Friday March 30th, 2018, in Tallmadge, Ohio. She has been joyfully reunited with her poppa, whom she’d never met, mother, husband, Cpl. Edgar Lea Weems, daughter, Joy Weems Miller, son, Sgt. Scott E. Garig, and by her beloved siblings Guy Clifton, Van Kirk, and Peggy Craven.
Surviving family members include, Sephen Lea (Cyndi) Weems, Donna Weems (Mark) Hodge, Carla Weems (Mike) Scarpitti, Edgar Timothy (Shelia) Weems, Deborah Weems, and Noah Garig, Prayer partner and previous husband, Billy Garig, brother, Ronald (Ada) McCombs and sister in law, Mary Weems Whitsitt, whom all loved her greatly and will carry on her legacy of Each Day a New Beginning. Extending life to 8 children, 19 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren, her love lives on.
A memorial service will be held at the Lake Methodist Church in Lake, Mississippi on May 19th, 2018 at 2:00. All family members and friends are invited to attend the reunion of love.
