Services for Ms. Madison “Madi” McDill were held at 2 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2019, at Sebastopol Baptist Church with burial in the Sulphur Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tim Fanguy and Rev. Guy McGarrity officiated.
Visitation was held Thursday, January 3, 2019, 4 p.m. - 8 pm and Friday, January 4, one hour prior to service at Sebastopol Baptist Church.
Madi, 11, of Sebastopol died Saturday, December 29, 2018.
Survivors include her parents: Chad and Tara McDill of Sebastopol; two brothers: Alex and Mays McDill of Sebastopol; maternal grandparents, Kenny and Deb Weekley of Rochester, IN; paternal grandparents, Wink and Missy McDill of Sebastopol; Jodi and Cheri James of Daphne, AL; aunts and uncles: Bill McDill and wife Victoria of Sebastopol, Tommy Tucker and wife Shannon of Sebastopol, Brandon Weekley of Bay Minette, AL, Yvette Rackard and husband Doug of Bay Minette, AL, Toni Phillips and wife Leslie of Rabun, AL, Cindi Hill and husband David of Bay Minette, AL; great-grandmother, Tillie Mann.
Madi was preceded in death by her grandparents, Connie and Roderick H. Phillips; great-grandparents, C.D. Mann, Mary Ellen and Leonard Kennedy, Mavis and Alex Gerald Weekley, Bill and Mattie McDill.
Madi was a 5th grade, straight A, student at Sebastopol Attendance Center. She was very affectionate to people and animals. Everyone that knew her will remember her kindness and sweet hugs that she gave. Madi was a member of New Zion Baptist Church and her profession of faith was demonstrated each day through her love for Jesus.
Pallbearers were Chad McDill, Bill McDill, Brandon Weekley, Tanner Morgan, Alex McDill, Jeremiah Weekley, Matthew Wilson and A.J. Killcreas. Honorary pallbearers were Tommy Tucker, Shane Herring, Bobby Joe McDill, Mays McDill, and Doug Rackard.
