Mrs. Maybeth Lang, age 80, passed away on February 2, 2019 at her home.
Mrs. Maybeth was born in Lake, MS to Terrell and Tommie White. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family. She was a faithful member of Salem Baptist Church. She loved her Sunday School Class and her pastor.
She is survived by sons Mike (Sherry) Lang; Kenny (Teresa) Lang; grandsons: Josh (Becky) Lang; Garrett (Erin) Lang; Jesse (Laura) Lang; Shelby (Haley) Lang; sister, Zellene Posey; great-grandchildren: Lana Lang; Mabry Beth Lang; Dillon Lang; nieces: Tammy Stokes, Morah Stokes, Laurin (Jason) Wilkerson; nephews: Andy (Ashlie) Stokes; Clark Stokes; Jack Stokes; Mark (Pam) Bradshaw; Rick (Nancy) Bradshaw; Marcus (April) Lang; Justin (Sarah) Lang; Matthew Bradshaw and brother-in-law Bob (Deborah) Lang.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph Lang; parents, Terrell and Tommie White; brother-in-law, Earl Posey; nephew, Timmy Posey; brother and sister-in-law, Elmer and Hazel Bradshaw; father and mother-in-law, Emmanuel Lang and Annie Ruth Lang.
Pallbearers were Jesse Lang, Shelby Lang, Josh Lang, Garrett Lang, Andy Stokes, and Jason Smith.
Honorary pallbearers were Rick Bradshaw, Mark Bradshaw, and J.D. Smith.
Visitation was held Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel Funeral Home-Forest.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Maybeth Lang were held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at 10:00 a.m at Salem Baptist Church with Bro. Larry Duncan, Bro. Roger Laird, and Bro. Kenny Lang officiating. Burial followed in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery.
