Nancy McMillan Bounds, 71, of Raleigh, Mississippi, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, Mississippi. She was born Saturday, December 6, 1947 in Jackson, Mississippi.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at the Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh. Funeral Services followed in the chapel with burial at North Raleigh Cemetery. Dr. Keith Gordon officiated. Colonial Chapel Funeral Home of Raleigh was in charge of arrangements. (601) 782-4544
Nancy’s passion was educating students and spending time with her grandson, Tice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Keith Bounds and her parents, J. T. and Arwyn McMillan.
Survivors include her daughters, Angie Tucker and Lea Anna Burnside (Bryan) both of Brandon, MS; her brother, Bruce McMillan (Diane) of Forest, MS; three grandchildren, Tice Burnside, Bailey Burnside, and Miller Burnside.
Pallbearers were Greg Ware, Brad Ware, Stephen Myers, Tyler Sorey, Cody Sorey, and Ryan Sorey.
