Mr. Oscar Robinson White, age 81, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. Visitation was held Friday February 15, 2019 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS. Services were held Saturday February 16, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Wolf Funeral Services Chapel in Morton, MS. Burial followed at Pleasant Hill M.B. Cemetery in Morton, MS. Officiating was Rev. Rochell Wright. Wolf Funeral Services in Morton, MS was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. White had lived in Morton, MS since 1976, formerly living in Wisconsin.
He was preceded in death by his son, Oscar Nelson White; He is survived by six children, Hope White-Wells of Morton, MS; Ronda Moore of Pelahatchie, MS; Jeffery White of Morton, MS; Donnell White of Morton, MS; Christopher White of Brandon, MS; Alfonza White of San Diego, CA; two sisters, Earline Cobb of Milwaukee, WI; Jimmie Woods of Milwaukee, WI; his brother, Alfonzo White of Michigan City, IN; 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and also, a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Pallbearers were Kelvin Moore, Julius Moore, Courtney Boyd, Markieth Wheeler, Keonta Lloyd, and Cory Steele.
