On May 18, 2025 a Baccalaureate Services was held at the Scott County District missionary Baptist Association Building. Pastor Curtis Laster, Jr. was the guest speaker. Theme Trust God’s Plan Jeremiah 29:11 Pastor Laster touched on many points. He reminded the graduates to Trust God’s plan and learn how to function in chaos. Pastor Laster delivered a strong message to our graduates.
On May18, 2025 our morning message was brought by Pastor Marcus McDougle scripture reference John 5:1-9 with the subject What are you waiting for.
Food For Thought: It’s easy to have our friends over for dinner. Offering our hospitality to the people who give us pleasure is not much of a hardship. But guess what hospitality gets harder when we offer it to the people who hurt our feelings, the people we don’t like very much. Whether it is a smile shared with a stranger, a listening ear offered to a friend, a meal shared, or a kind gesture shared with someone who needs it. Every act of love and understanding ripples out into the world. Go out today and share some love.
