Food For Thought: Have you ever heard the saying You may not be able to keep birds from perching on your head, but you can keep them from building nests in your hair. It means we can’t always control our emotions, but we can choose which ones we want to hold on to and dwell on. Choosing to be cheerful instead of gloomy is far healthier for our minds, bodies and spirits. Being depressed and looking like you sucked a lemon all day is very exhausting!
