Food For Thought: Cruisin’ the coast is called “America’s Largest Block Party” and holds the record for the most registered vehicles in a U.S. classic car event. This year did not disappoint, marking the 29th year.
This event started in 1996 to celebrate antique, classic and hot rod vehicles. The first year 374 vehicles registered by 2024 it had grown to 9,961. The numbers keep climbing. Car enthusiasts from around the world come to this event once a year to showcase their rides and cruise the 30 mile stretch of beach-side highway.
This year Peggy and Jimmie Lewis along with Nikitia and Jerrell Chambers had a great time. If you haven’t been. Check it out.
