Bettye Mae Jack Middle School will be having their annual Black History Program on February 19, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. Theme “Dream Forward”-Be the change that turns present aspirations into future legacies. First presentation of the Bettye Mae Jack Living Legacy Award. Honorees are: Mrs. Lois Collier, Mrs. Sarah Burgess-Williams and Mrs. Shirley Stingley-Norris

Food For Thought: Pleasant Hill M.B. Church held their Black History program on February 15, 2026 along with regular service. Renee McDougle served as Program Guide. Our youth choir did and amazing job. Black Super Heros were Portrayed by Cyzar Davis (President Barack Obama) Jalaylah Davis (Rosa Parks) Cannon Davis (Rev. Jessie Jackson) Ashden McDougle (Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.)
