Announcements: A weekly Prayer service is held every Wednesday at the Scott County Courthouse in Forest. Starts at 10 a.m. Everyone is welcome.
Bible Study is held at Pleasant Hill M.B. Church the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm.
The Scott County Sheriff Dept. Annual Golf Tournament is scheduled for April 29, 2023 beginning at 8:00 a.m. Location Forest Country Club. For more information contact Richard Gregory at 601-469-3223.
We Care Food Distribution date for March is the 24th at Morton United Methodist Church, 29 Church Street, Morton from 10:00 a.m. -12:00 noon.
The Scott County Sports Hall of Fame inductees have been announced for the Class of 2023.
Congratulations To: Dorothy Redeemer on your retirement of City Clerk for the City of Morton and the State of Mississippi. Representative Tom Miles and Senator McCaughn presented Dorothy with a Proclamation from the Mississippi Legislature recognizing her service.
Continued Prayers and Concern For: Sean Turk (co-worker) Kaye Lynn Martin (co-worker) and Brenda Matheny. Sympathy to the families of Ruthie Harper and Terrell Collier.

Food For Thought: We Celebrated Our Pastor Marcus McDougle and First Lady Shannon McDougle’s 7 years of service on March 19th. Deacon Jimmie Lewis served as our Master of Ceremony. Thank you, Pleasant Hill, for all you do. The Program was beautiful. Rev. Vincent Hopkins delivered the Anniversary Message. Scripture reference Josh 1:6-9 with the subject It’s time to be strong.
