April 28th Forest Garden Club Plant Sale
The Annual Forest Garden Club sale is promising to have some great spring plants, including annuals and perennials, bulbs, herbs, pot plants, shrubs, yard art, baked goods and door prizes. You do not have to be present to win! It will be held on Friday, 4/28, from 9 am to 5 pm at Forest Community Center (Kat’s Cave). No admission charged! (You can get the spring fever dig in the dirt feeling!)
Garden hint — put a banana peel in a jar, for a day or so, and then put the water on some tomato plants. In a few days, many tomato blossoms should pop out. Apparently, potassium is big for tomato plants.
April is “Electric Lineman’s” Month. This is considered as one of the most dangerous jobs in our country. Without Linemen there would be No Power in our lines. If you see a Lineman, please show your appreciation!
“Somewhere a cop is being yelled at for taking too long to get there, saving the life of a stranger, holding his bladder because his MTD just went off; starving because he missed a meal; having to keep a stone face at an accident scene where there are two dead kids; And, now at 4 a.m., he’s missing his family, while he’s taking care of yours. Thank a Cop!!!” (Until you leave your family, at home everyday to protect everyone else’s, don’t trash talk the police or soldiers to me!)
You matter. Practice loving yourself, instead of simply loving the idea of other people loving you. Practice loving yourself, caring for yourself and becoming a reliable part of your own support system! You can’t always have a good day, but you can face a bad day with a good attitude!
I decided to take an aerobics class. I bent, I twisted, gyrated, and jumped down for an hour, but by the time I got my leotards on, the class was over! One day you’re young and the next...you have a favorite Pharmacy.
Simon Crowell is an extremely successful entertainment business owner, producer and T.V. personality, judge in both UK and US. He can now add another roll to his resume. He became a father in 2014, a moment, he said that changed him as a person. Before the birth of his son, Erie, he said in an interview that none of his $600 million net worth, will be passed along to his son. He said he didn’t believe in passing down a fortune to the next generation. “I’m going to leave my money to somebody, a charity or probably to kids and dogs” he said in 2013. “I don’t believe in passing it on from one generation to another.” He prefers to leave him his legacy. The idea is not that your legacy has to be money. Hopefully, you gave enough people an opportunity so that they could do well, and you gave them your time and taught them what you know.”

I think we sometimes forget that God is all powerful, all knowing and all capable. He isn’t just the God of sometimes, but the God of always.
Have a blessed week and share it!
