The Sebastopol Bobcat Midgets 10u once again won the Area Wide Youth Sports Elite Super Bowl last fall at ECCC against Union Yellowjackets by a score of 34-0. RD1 against Newton County Cougars 42-0 and RD2 against Newton Tigers 18-0.
The team did not allow a single point during the playoffs and they scored 407 total points during season and gave up only 26 total points.
Super Bowl highlights include:
• Chris Morgan II opened the game up with a 70 yard scamper on the 1st play from scrimmage. Failed 2PT. Score 6-0
• Bobcats forced a 3 and out.
• On 2nd Drive. QB Jake Reeves connected to receiver Jaxon Kennedy for a 15 yard touchdown. QB Jake Reeves ran in the 2PT to make the score 14-0.
• Bobcats forced another punt after Union picked up 1 first down.
• 3rd Drive. Kharter Brown scored on 1st play of drive from 70 yards out. PAT failed from Bryson Evans. Score 20-0
• Bobcats forced another 3 and out but ran out of time. Halftime, 20-0.
• Union received the 2nd half kickoff to set up 1st and 10. On 1st down Carter Kincaid forced a fumble with a tackle and Miller Comans recovered the fumble for the Bobcats.
• Kharter Brown ran another TD in from 36 yards out and Jacob Thames cashed in the 2 point attempt. Score 28-0.
• Jaxon Kennedy had an interception in the 4 QT and ran it 37 yards back to set the Bobcats up with 1 and goal from the 9 yard line. Jake Reeves ran in a 1 yard TD. 2PT failed. Score 34-0.
