Back to School Time
School starts August 6. Let’s all pray for a great school year for the students and the teachers.
It’s revival time at Steam Mill Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The church will once again be holding a month-long Sunday night revival. Scheduled to participate in the revival are the following guest speakers: August 4, Bro. George Ellis; August 11–Bro. Mark Gill; August 18–Bro. Luke Lawson; August 25–Bro. Dale Henderson. Service time is 5 p.m.
Steam Mill will host the Magnolia Regional Meeting on Saturday, September 7, at 10 a.m. All the ladies are invited to attend this meeting.
Reminder: Salem Church (Hwy. 487) has new hours for services. Sunday - Sunday School at 10 a.m., morning worship service at 11 a.m., youth activities from 5pm. till 6:30 p.m.; Wednesday night services – adult Bible study at 6 o’clock in the fellowship hall and youth activities at 6 o’clock in the youth room. Food will be served on Wednesday night. Bro. David Rives will be bringing the morning messages through the month of July. All are welcome to attend.
Please continue to pray for a special group of young people who need the continued touch from the Great Physician : Sam McNaugh, Bentley Strickland, Maci Hamilton, Matthew O’Neal. These are tough little fighters who have endured and continue to endure daily pain. Please continue to pray for these amazing young people. Update: Sam is doing well and improving everyday. Matthew has been home to Mississippi for a brief stay before having to return to the hospital for treatment. Maci’s latest scans show that the cancer is now in her liver. She is in need of prayers.
