By all accounts Bentley’s seventh annual trail ride was a great success. Next week we will have a total to report.
The town of Sebastopol has designated Tuesday, October 29, as the official time to hand out candy in town, If you want to treat your family to a good bowl of gumbo that night, the Sebastopol Fire Department will be selling a bowl of gumbo and a drink for $5.00 at 5 p.m. in the parking lot of Piggly Wiggly. Support our local fire department as they raise funds for much needed equipment.
FYI: Tent Revival, Hwy 15 and 492 intersection, Earl Laird Park, Union, MS – Oct. 23-25, 7 p.m. and Oct 26 – 6 p.m. Free food 30 minutes prior to the service.
Reminder: Salem Church (Hwy. 487) has new hours for services. Sunday – Sunday School at 10 a.m , morning worship service at 11 a.m.; Wednesday night services – adult Bible study at 6 o’clock in the fellowship hall and youth activities at 6 o’clock in the youth room. Food will be served on Wednesday night. Bro. David Rives will be bringing the morning messages. All are welcome to attend.
Please continue to pray for a special group of young people who need the continued touch from the Great Physician: Salem Bennett, Lee Wilson, Sam McNaugh, Bentley Strickland, Maci Hamilton, Matthew O’Neal. These are tough little fighters who have endured and continue to endure daily pain. Please continue to pray for these amazing young people.
