200th Birthday

Salem Church (Hwy 487) will celebrate its 200th birthday 1825-2025) on Sunday, February 2, at 2 p.m. There will be no Sunday school or morning worship on this Sunday. Bro. Randall Creel will be bringing the dedication message on this day. Everyone is invited to attend this milestone event as the newly renovated church building will be rededicated at this time. Also February is the month that celebrates the beginning of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church (1810). If you or any member of your family has ever attended Salem, we invite you to come and be a part of this time of dedication and celebration,
Reminder: Salem Church (Hwy. 487) has new hours for services. Sunday – Sunday School at 10 a.m., morning worship service at 11 a.m.; Wednesday night services – adult Bible study at 6 o’clock in the fellowship hall and youth activities at 6 o’clock in the youth room. Food will be served on Wednesday night. Bro. David Rives will be bringing the morning messages. All are welcome to attend.
Please continue to pray for a special group of young people who need the continued touch from the Great Physician: Salem Bennett, Lee Wilson, Sam McNaugh, Bentley Strickland, Matthew O’Neal, Lestat Ellingburg, Eden Gilmore. These are tough little fighters who have endured and continue to endure daily pain. Please continue to pray for these amazing young people. Please add a new name to our young people’s list – newborn Danny Ray Thrash who needs us to pray for him as he had surgery the day following his birth.
