Congratulations to the school, staff, and faculty at Sebastopol for being one of six schools in Mississippi to achieve a 100 percent graduation rate.
Kindergarten registration is underway for children who are or will be five on or before September 1, 2025. If you have not already taken advantage of an earlier registration day, you may register March 26, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the school. Bring the following items with you: birth certificate, social security card, immunization record (Form 121), two proofs of residency in the Sebastopol School District. Students who are currently enrolled in the PreK program at Sebastopol will not need to attend Kindergarten registration.
Those who are interested in Youth Football can register March 1, 2025, from 1-3 p.m. For more information you may contact 601-507-7574 or 601-562-3070. Group classifications are as follows: Tinimites (4-6), Rookies (7-8), Midgets (9-10), and Peewees (11-12). Registration is free and includes two game uniforms and one practice jersey and pants.
The Scott County School District is holding its registration for early learning classes. Children who are turning four years old on or before September 1, 2025, are eligible for this program. Registration will be held at the Forest Community Head Start Center, 970 East First St., Forest, Mississippi 39074, Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 2-6 p.m. Parents/guardians will need to bring the following items to register a student: birth certificate, Mississippi Immunization form 121, parent photo ID, custodial papers (if applicable), two proofs of residency, social security card, 1040 Tax return/w-2 for 2024 or snap card, child’s medical/private insurance card, current physical screening (EPSDT form), current dental exam. Acceptable proofs of residency include the following: automobile tag receipt, insurance policy on home/apartment, drivers license, state or national ID, mortgage documents/property deed, rental/lease agreement (notarized), utility bill.
