Coming Up Events
The third annual ladies night out is Thursday, Oct. 2 at the atrium at the Medical Complex at 505 Airport Road in Forest. Shopping and Flamingle is from 5-6. The speakers and Pink Carpet Fashion are from 6-8. This event is open to all women 18 and up in the fight against breast cancer.
Third Thursday nights are back. Taste and See Deli will be open from 5-8 on the third Thursday night.
Sebastopol Football Friday dress up days: Sept. 26 (Homecoming). Oct. 17–pink out; and Oct. 24–cameo day. For the week of Homecoming Sept. 22-26–Monday, western; Tuesday–red, white, and blue; Wed.-favorite team attire; Thurs. American Dream–dress as what you want to be when you grow up. Friday–Party in the USA–red, white, and blue.
Salem Church (Hwy. 487) has begun Sunday night (5-7) youth service. All youth in the area are invited to attend a time of devotional, activities, and food. Parents can drop off the kids at 5 and pick up at 7. Other services at Salem are Sunday School at 10:15, morning worship at 11 a.m. and Wednesday night activities are at 6 o’clock.
The 145th Bailey Family reunion will be held at Salem Church at 11 a.m. October 11, 2025. Everyone is invited to bring a dish and enjoy a potluck meal with the family.
October 11 at 5 pm, Salem Church will be hosting a community singing. Everyone is invited to attend. Soup and dessert will be served in the fellowship hall immediately after the singing.
October 18 at 6 o’clock the third Sebastopol Picking Circle will be in Bishop Park. Come out and participate in an amazing event.
Sebastopoolza is Oct. 4. The deadline for the Scarecrow contest is September 27.
Jingle and Mingle Christmas Market is Saturday, November 8, from 8 a.m. till 4 p.m. at the Co-op Community Center.
Nov. 5 at 7 p.m. and Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. Healing Crusade Under the Tent at the Cash Saver Parking Lot next to Walmart in Carthage. Free food will be served before each service. Speakers are as follows: Luke Wooten, James Tull, Caleb Brantley, Dave Brantley, and special guest speaker–Joshua “Nick” Sergeant–AKA Holy Beard.
