Special Services
Steam Mill Cumberland Presbyterian Church is hosting a series of Sunday evening revival services during the month of August with guest ministers from surrounding churches. Services begin at five each Sunday evening. The first service is scheduled for this Sunday, August 6. Guest minister is Brother Don Cook of High Hill Baptist Church. Speakers for the following services are as follows: August 13, Brother Brett Cooper of Rocky Hill Church of God; August 20, Brother Jason Price of Golden Grove Church of God; August 27, Brother George Ellis of Mt. Zion Baptist Church. If you can, join Steam Mill for these services.
I know that there are many young people in our area who are suffering from numerous medical problems, but there are four children ranging in ages from two to twelve who are on my mind that need a special healing touch from God. One of these children is living with advanced stages of cancer; one has a serious heart defect at the age of two and has never had the privilege of tasting food; one has a form of adult cancer that the doctors don’t know how to treat. Please say a special prayer for a touch from the Great Physician for little Sam McNaugh, Olivia Weatherford, Bentley Strickland, and Maci Hamilton. These are tough little fighters who have endured and continue to endure daily pain.
