Friend and Family Day is August 20
Midway M. B. Church Friend and Family Day will be August 20. Tamara Banks is in charge. The color is red. A luncheon will be served.
Annual Cleanup Day will be August 19 beginning at 7:30 a.m. Sandra McClendon is in charge.
Annual Revival will begin August 21 until August 24 beginning at 7:30 nightly. Monday night speaker will be Rev. Marvin Miles of Galilee M. B. Church, Carthage, Choir Night and color is blue. Tuesday night speaker is Rev. Angelo Riley of New Friendship M. B. Church, Walnut Grove, Women’s night color is white. Wednesday night speaker is Rev. Cory Bender of Midway Freewill Baptist Church, Youth night and they will wear their T-shirts. Thursday night speaker will be Rev. Sheldon Thomas of Little Rock M. B. Church, Men’s night.
Percy Shepard is home from the hospital. Remember him and his wife Dorothy in your prayers.
Percy Shepard’s daughter Catria “Tina” Hall is home from California visiting with him for a few days.
Sympathy to the Brewer and Butler family in the passing of Casell Brewer. He was eulogized on last Saturday at Little Rock M. B. Church. His interment was in the church cemetery.
