Plenty of revivals are coming up
There are plenty of revivals going on and coming up. Little rock MBC Revival began Sunday, August 6, 2017 with Pastor Marvin McLaurin of New Mt. Zion MBX of Lake. The weekly revival at Little Rock will be carried on by Pastor Charles Bell of Mt. Olive of Lake.
Family and Friends Day at Concord MBC of Forest will be held August 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Pastor William Flowers of True Light Baptist Church in Chunky will be the speaker. The Acapella choir of Sylvester and Union Grove will Participate.
One Hundred Men and Women in Red will be held at Greater Deliverance COGIC in Forest on August 13 at 2:00 p.m. Attire will be women in red and men in black suites with red ties. Revival will be had at Pleasant Hill MBC in Morton on Sunday August 20 at 6:00 p.m. then August 21-24 with Pastor Charles Hughes nightly at 7:00 p.m.
Revival will start August 21-24 at Midway MBX. There will be a one night Revival at Millbrook UMC in Jackson on Sunday, August 27, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. Pastor EJ Shepard and the mass choir will be the speaker and guest for the evening.
Revival at Lone Pilgrim MBC will be August 28, 2017 then nightly at 7:00 p.m. Sylvester UMC will hold revival starting Sunday, September 3 and nightly service Sept. 4-7 starting at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Clyde Tate of St. James MBC of Canton, MS. Sylvester colors for that Sunday will be Purple and Black. Please keep all these dates in mind.
We started off the week with a new school year. Pastor Shepard delivered a tremendous prayer for children, teachers, facility, staff and parents. Please send up your prayers that our surrounding schools have a wonderful school year.

Do you need a miracle in your life for something that seems impossible? With man, it may be, but we serve the all-powerful God, and He can create something out of nothing! He can make a way when there seems to be no way and open doors that seemed closed forever!
Genesis tells us that in the beginning, God created the heavens and earth, but before He spoke the world into existence, it was formless and void. If God can make the world out of nothing, He can take the empty places in your life and create something beautiful, too! He can speak light into your darkest hour. He can take your formless dreams and give them shape. He can resurrect your stagnant gifts and talents! He can make your crooked places straight!
Remember, you are created in the image of Almighty God. There’s power in your words, and there’s power when you’re in agreement with Him. Start saying what God says about your situation. Speak life to your broken dreams today. Speak hope into the hopeless places. Keep an attitude of faith and expectancy because He will turn things around for you and create something out of nothing!
Father in heaven, I trust that You are willing and able to make a way for my friends where there seems to be no way in their life. Fill them with Your peace and faith. Give them a vision for all You have for them and help them to always speak Your words of truth and life. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN!!!
