The regular football season is winding down around the state as district play tightens. The Lake Hornets, on the road last week at Pelahatchie, improved to 5-3 on the season and 3-0 in district with a 32-24 victory over the Chiefs. It is Homecoming this week in Lake and Hornets hope to keep the streak alive as they host Pisgah.
