Charlie and Anna Beth Cox of Forest announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter, Emilee Anna Cox, to Colby Drew Maner, son of Terry Maner and the late Dana Maner of Morton.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of the late James Walter and Helen Lee of Forest and the late Melvin and Lillie Cox of Forest.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Bonnie Maner and the late Shelby Maner of Morton and the late Laverne and Nora Wolfe of Lake.
Miss Cox is a 2012 honor graduate of Forest High School where she was Salutatorian. Emilee earned her Associate Degree of Science in 2014 from East Central Community College where she was a member of the Centralette dance team. Miss Cox earned her Radiology Technology Degree from Meridian Community College in 2016. Emilee graduated suma cum laude with a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Degree from Hinds Community College in 2017. Miss Cox is employed by St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson as a diagnostic sonographer.
Mr. Maner is a 2011 honor graduate of Morton High School. Colby earned his Associate Degree in 2013 from Mississippi Delta Community College where he was team captain of the baseball team. Mr. Maner earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Mississippi State University in 2016. Colby is employed by Raytheon in Forest.
The couple will exchange vows in a ceremony at Forest Baptist Church on September 12, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. in Forest, Mississippi.
