Get on the bus
Congratulations to my Alma Mata, Jackson State University again for winning. Now getting ready for their next big game against South Carolina State University in Atlanta on December 18. There will be a bus leaving the Walmart parking lot about 12:30 am on December 18 and leaving Atlanta immediately after the game. I am told a seat is $90 each. To check on seating call Rose McGowan at 601-259-6861. Hope enough people call, reserve and pay for seating, that the bus will stop at Walmart in Forest to pick up and put off passengers.
Congratulations to Scott Central Attendance Center on their achievements in winning the Mississippi High School Activities Association (MHSAA) Class 2A Football Championship. Those people who have received honors for their hard work are as following. (Remember everybody cannot be a chief, to be successful the chief needs strong warriors to make an impact. Remember if the Lord says the same there will always be another time to exceed.) Coach of the year, was Jeff Stockstill. Offensive Player the Year was Quez Goss, QB, a junior. First Team Offense were, Dee Burks, WR, a senior and Javieon Butler, WR, a junior. First Team Defense are Zachariah Parodi, DE a junior and Michael Patrick, LB a senior. Second Team Defense are Omarion Jackson, LB a senior and Jhatavious Slack, FS a senior. These young men have really worked hard and strived to do their best. Keep on supporting them. They are worthy to be praised.
Dr. Locord Wilson and Delie Shepard enjoyed Mr. Brandon impersonations of Elvis Presley. It was a dinner concert. The food was appetizing and good. We had a wonderful time. Mr. Bennett did not dance and change clothes like he used to, he had gained a few pounds along with age.
