After months of preparation, the Harperville Baptist Church Mission Team arrived in Haiti on Saturday.  The team is made up of 18 members of our church, and in spirit, every person who has contributed to, prayed for and supported this trip.  The group traveled, with God’s grace, and made it safely to their destination.  They will minister and build relationships with the Haitians in a variety of ways this week.  Please pray that this group of missionaries will successfully share the Good News, will grow spiritually through this experience, and for safe travel home.

Harperville Baptist Church will have a Ladies Night Out on Friday, June 23rd. All ladies of any age from HBC, and the community, are cordially invited to join for a relaxing meal at Fernando’s in Brandon.  The church bus will leave at 5:30 p.m. so please let Anne Cahoon know if you will be attending.

Next Sunday is Father’s Day and as part of the morning service, we will observe a Parent/Baby Dedication Service for John, Leah and Michael Bergin and Seth, Megan and Jax McDaniel.  There will be no evening service.

If you don’t mind the heat, and you like to play softball, let Chris Jones or Jason Lee know that you want to be on the HBC team for the annual church league tournament.
