Getting to know each other better
A group of 22 ladies from Harperville BC had a great time of camaraderie on Friday night when they traveled to Pearl to share a meal together. Meals are always more enjoyable if you don’t have to cook or clean up afterwards! This was a multi-generational group of ladies and this outing gave us the opportunity to get to know each other better.
On Saturday night, the young adults had a get-together with food and games at the home of Megan and Seth McDaniel. If you missed these events, you may want to join in the fellowship planned for July 6th at Cock of the Walk on the Reservoir. Transportation will be provided.
A lovely bridal shower was hosted by several ladies of Harperville BC on Sunday afternoon honoring Kayla Worrell. It was attended by many family members and friends of the bride and groom.
Next Sunday morning the monthly Men’s Ministry Breakfast will be observed at 8:00 a.m. This is a time of fellowship, food and meaningful devotion. Also, during the morning worship service next Sunday, members of the Mission Team will share details about their recent experiences in Haiti.
Although school is “out” for the summer, you might not know it by looking at all the activities going on. There are summer league games, practices, training and conditioning for several of our sports teams. Also, improvements and repairs are underway continuously on our campus. Enjoy your summer break because the first day of the new school year, August 7th, will be here before you know it.
