Men’s Ministry Breakfast is October 7th
The monthly HBC Men’s Ministry Breakfast will take place next Sunday morning, October 7th at 8:00 a.m. All men and boys are welcome to join. Bro. Ken McLemore will be the visiting pastor and lead the worship services next Sunday.
Scott Central Rebels are continuing their winning season with a big win in their first district game of the season against Newton with a score of 40-6. SC will travel and play the Union Yellowjackets next Friday. In the MS Gridiron and Max Preps rankings for 2A schools, the SC Rebels are currently ranked third in the state.
Scott Central took three buses full of juniors and seniors to Roosevelt State Park on Thursday for College Day. On hand were numerous technical, community and senior colleges, several branches of the armed forces and local banks to provide information to the students.
The first nine weeks exams will be given Oct 3rd-5th. The schedule can be found on the SC website or on the Scott Central Attendance Center Face Book page. No students are exempt from these exams. Benchmark/Snapshot assessments to help determine mastery of subject material will be given in state tested classes. Please do not sign students out during the exams and help make sure your child is present each day!
