Progress Reports come home Thursday
Although it feels like we just got back from our holiday break, it is already time for progress reports and they will be sent home with students on Thursday, January 31st. Nine weeks tests for the third term will be March 6-8 and Spring Break will be the week of March 11-15.
Denea Smith, a 5th grader at Scott Central placed third from a field of 22 other students at the Regional Reading Fair in Meridian at the Mississippi State University campus. Denea’s board was on the book, Talkin’ About Bessie: The Story of Aviator Elizabeth Coleman.
My deepest condolences to the family of Tykey Bland, a 2017 graduate of Scott Central, on his recent passing.
