Second meet of season
Bailey Easterling Batte, a 2013 graduate of Scott Central, visited the campus last week to speak with our kindergarten students about dental health and care. Bailey is a dental hygienist and will graduate from USM in May with a degree in Molecular Biology. She plans to continue her education and attend dental school. Our kindergarteners were provided with information and demonstrations on proper teeth care. They were also given packets with new toothbrushes donated by Dr. Douglas Woods in Forest. Bailey is the daughter of SC teacher, Mrs. Penny Bell.
Congratulations to the SC Archery Team on winning their second meet of the year at SE Lauderdale. Our spring sports, softball, baseball, archery and powerlifting, are all busy playing games and competing in meets. Hopefully, we can get a break from all the rain so softball and baseball can get their games played. Good luck to all our Rebel athletics!
At Harperville Baptist, the Women’s Ministry will be sponsoring a food drive for the Carlisle Crisis Center during the month of March. Members are asked to bring canned and boxed non-perishable items. Next Sunday morning will be the March Brotherhood Breakfast at 8:00 a.m. After church, there will be a Sunday School Class fellowship at Penn’s in Forest.
