“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” — Dr. Seuss Putting that quote into practice, Read Across America was observed at Scott Central last week for grades K-6. Each day students dressed up according to the theme of the day which featured a Dr. Seuss book. The students enjoyed the fun activities that encouraged reading. Many thanks to the family, friends and volunteers who came and read to the children.
Spring Break is this week. Hopefully, everyone will get rested, recharged and we can see an end to this nasty cold and flu season. Report cards for the third nine weeks will be issued the Thursday we return to school.
