Plenty to do this summer at HBC
Even though our young people are out for summer break, there are still lots of ongoing activities at Harperville Baptist Church for them. All youth are encouraged to take part in the Youth Summer of Service which meets each Wednesday night. The youth, under the leadership of Jason Tillman, will engage in several service projects though out the summer break.
The HBC Children’s Bible Drill Presentation will be next Sunday night, June 23rd. Plans for 2019 Vacation Bible School are in progress and will be offered on July 26th and July 27th. Also, on Sunday nights, Bro. Gary Wyatt is bringing a 10-week series entitled Red Sea Rules.
“Come to the Well” is the name of the Women of Hope Rally presented by Forest Baptist Church on Saturday, June 22nd from 10-2 p.m. The speaker will be Mary Callahan, a missionary, certified life coach and director of Hands Up Outreach. Worship through music will be led by Nicole Kennedy, Melissa Sawyer and Jordan Sawyer of Church of God, Morton. There will be resource tables from numerous groups that provide services to women and families. The event is free and open to any women who would like to attend.
