Children’s Choir Program is Sunday

Harperville Baptist observed an ingathering for the Lottie Moon Christmas offering Sunday morning after hearing a message from Mrs. Dan Panter, a retired international missionary. She and her husband have devoted over 40 years of active service as international missionaries. She spoke about the many places they lived abroad during their years of service and that that funding for missionaries comes in large part from the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering.

In addition to our guest speaker, two young ladies, Skylar Rushing and Karley Liner, were baptized by Jason Tillman.  After the service, a church-wide luncheon was enjoyed by those present. Next Sunday morning, the HBC children’s choir will present their Christmas program.

This is the last week of regular classes for Scott County Schools.  Final exams will be given next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.  Friday will be a half day for makeup tests. The Holiday Break will begin on Monday, December 23, and students will return to class on January 7, 2020.
