Spring Break 2020 coming next week
It has been a good week to be a Scott Central Rebel! Congratulations to the SC Boy’s Powerlifting Team on their second place finish in the North State competition. The following lifters qualified to compete in the State Championship on April 18th. Qualifiers are Kameron Mobbs, Tyquan Bounds, Jeremiah Hicks, Treyon Wash, Javarious McBeath, LaJavis Patrick, Darion Bobbitt, Jackie Donald, Zy Wash, and Elijah Robinson.
On Friday, the Lady Rebel Softball team won with a comeback victory over McLaurin, on Saturday, February 29th, the Scott Central Rebel Archery team placed 2nd in the Columbia Classic, and the Rebel Baseball team defeated the Leake Central Gators in both games and we are all extremely proud of former Scott Central alum, Kelcia Bufkin, who has been selected to play for Mississippi’s first professional women’s basketball league, the Mississippi Eagles.
The Third nine-weeks exams will be administered on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week, after which students and teachers can enjoy Spring Break 2020.
