Drop off books May 14
It is encouraging to see our community, our state and our nation begin the transition back to some normalcy. Our new normal will not look exactly like the old. We have been changed by this crisis, perhaps and hopefully, for the better. Each time we get in our cars and leave the safety of our homes, we put ourselves at risk. We try to safeguard our safety by taking defensive actions: following traffic laws, wearing seatbelts, being diligent of dangerous conditions, etc. However, we realize and accept that there are inherent dangers and we risk serious injury each and every time we are on the road. The same applies to the current crisis. Let’s be as careful as we possibly can, use precautions and mitigate dangerous circumstances, but let’s not continue to live in fear. Let’s move forward!
May 13 will be Awards Day. Our Awards Day will be recorded and posted on social media.

Church services at Harperville Baptist have carried on remotely for the past two months and will continue thru the month of May. We are fortunate that we have had that option available and thank Bro. Wyatt and the others who have made those services possible. We are hopeful that we can re-open our doors in June by using modified schedules and safe practices. I know we all miss the fellowship and spiritual renewal we receive in church services and we all look forward to returning to our “safe” place.
This Mother’s day was certainly different than those in past years, but it was a good one nonetheless. “Two of the greatest privileges of my life are being able to say that I am my children’s mother and that I am my mother’s daughter.” Author Unknown
