Never Give Up
God’s scriptures are full of promises that He’ll never break!
We can’t change our past. What has happened has happened. It’s history. Honestly, there’s nothing we can do about it. The choices and decisions we made in our past are there and can’t be erased.
But, we can change the now and future decisions. Learning to walk with God and praying before any decisions are made can save us much heartache. His Word tells us that “if” we will trust Him, He will “lead and guide” our every step.
“I guide you in the way of wisdom and lead you along straight paths. When you walk, your steps will not be hampered; when you run, you will not stumble.” (Proverbs 4: 11-12)
Praise God for His promises to lead us (He won’t break His promises)! The Holy Spirit will lead us into all truth!
Truth + trust = right decisions. Whether it’s a relationship decision, job offers, new purchases, etc., He will protect and lead you! When you are confused about what to do, don’t do! Stop! Wait on God to speak to your heart. When God does speak, there will be peace in your heart. God is not the author of turmoil and worry!
Recently, I’ve experienced some doors to close in my life. I’ll admit at first, I was disappointed, but I know God loves me and has much better plans for my family than the ones I was looking at. Yes, God has the best plans and promises for each of us and He won’t break them! Our job is to follow His will. You might be asking yourself, “How do you know if it’s God?” Friends, prayer changes everything! I’ve learned to pray in faith and trust Him! Doing God’s will brings peace!
Look at the following scripture and promise from God!
“I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go” says the Lord. (Psalm 32:8)
Yes, this scripture is a promise! We should pray and listen to His voice that speaks to our heart.
What decisions are you facing today? Are you discouraged about wrong choices of your past? Remember, It’s a new day! Thank God for His grace that covers over our sins, bad choices, mistakes, etc.
The more time you spend with your Heavenly Father, the more sensitive your ears and heart will be to Him.
Today is a new day! New beginnings! Choose to listen to God’s voice through His Word and not look back at your past mistakes! God is a “now” Father, the God of “restoration” and if you will trust Him, He will restore you greater than before! That’s His promise, and His promises are always true!
Also remember, Jesus is the answer! Jesus is your answer! I encourage you to never give up! Prayer truly changes everything! Pray and give Him thanks because He will answer! He doesn’t break promises!
