Human beings are a species with an insatiable appetite for information. Big companies that manage the digital world know this and are very successful in filling society with devices such as computers, smart phones, tablets, robots, etc. There is a whole world that is rapidly heading towards the domain of so-called artificial intelligence. Our lives are being transformed into something in which the natural and the artificial are sometimes confused and few realize that all these technological directions affect our immediate future.
Our future as a species is in danger. The nuclear power of mass destruction is stored by great powers and its use is probable in the case of a global conflict. Those same powerful nations have a power that is already being used to some extent. We are talking about genetic manipulation and artificial intelligence.
A few day ago the Chinese scientist He Jiankin produced the first genetically modified babies, against any legal or ethical limits. Thousands of scientist have warned about global warming that is ignored by powerful companies that intervene in the environment. It is a fact that many do not want to understand, including important politicians. Perverse minds are using artificial intelligence to fill society with physical information that seems to be true for us to make decisions that, without realizing it, are wrong.
Society is trying to get us to base our saving faith on the “wisdom of men.” We must warn that from the moment faith is put in the “wisdom of men” it denies the power of God, and for the secular, that is nonsense. We remember that Jesus was misunderstood by those whom the world considered wise and great. “Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.” (1 Corinthians 2: 6-7 ESV)
Because the lines of communication between men are saturated by the digital world, many have lost their spiritual communication with God because Artificial Intelligence is breaking it. They do not want to listen or communicate with our Lord. Artificial Intelligence, as a matter of fact, can not discern between the good and the evil that God teaches us. The Holy Spirit will never live in the material or in the chips of the digital world.
