Workers Mind
When we work in our mind, important things happen and it is necessary to know and meditate. Personally, from my youth I learned, thanks to some leaders that I admired and tried to follow, that Christian thought and action must always go hand in hand. Currently in my third age I reaffirm that belief. In our mind there are basically two centers of attention that do not always agree and that we fight so that this does not happen. One of these centers is our faith in Jesus Christ and the other is the reason that God gave to the human being, which lives very influenced by the world in general.
Nobody can be a novelty that when the world becomes the most important in our lives, we move away from God. “But I am afraid that as the serpent deceived Eve by his cunning, your thoughts will be led astray from a sincere and pure devotion to Christ” 2 Corinthians 11-3 ESV. We should be aware that it is better to speak clearly and walk according to the Christian gospel than to go hand in hand with those who do not believe or follow our principles. The only one before whom we have to be obedient and be humiliated if necessary, is before God. Despite the fact that society has created civil laws to which we comply, this does not mean that they are fair nor do they obey Christian criteria. Especially when there has been so much in history as today to ignore the equality with which God the Father created us. But no one can be unaware that the Creator will one day judge us.
I see a lot of confusion in the current Christian people. The permanent pressure of a world dominated by injustice, prejudice, violence and hatred along with lies, have convinced many that this is normal when the truth is not. “You shall be careful therefore to do as the Lord your God has commanded you. You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. You should walk in all the way that the Lord your Lord has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may go well with you, and that you may live long in the land that you shall possess.” Deuteronomy 5:32-33 ESV
When we study Jesus and we come to know Him and continue as a disciple, we will realize that His way means a great change and for the world it is revolutionary because it is not what the world wants us to follow. He is our way. “And you know the way to where I am going.” Thomas said to Him. “Lord, we do not know where are you going. How can we know the way? Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John 14:4-6 ESV For this reason Jesus Christ is the most important mental center for a person. No worker or other person can be ashamed or fear the world.
Spiritual success is only achieved through an honest and faithful life to the principles in which we believe. No matter the level within which we live, only our testimony matters. When someone in the world tries to frustrate us by imposing measures that have no common sense and do not obey Christian principles, we can only respond with peace. That unwavering peace that only God gives us assures us that we can continue walking without problems. It is important to put in His hands all our failures and goals, confident that our actions are pleasing to Him. Let us never forget that His blessings and forgiveness are always present.
May God bless you.
