The Message

Do you trust God with your situation?

When all else fails, we have to trust God’s plan. But even before anything goes astray, putting our faith in the Lord is a great way to get the assurance we need to press onward.

“The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and my song I give thanks to him.” (Psalm 28:7)

“And we know for those who love God all things work together for good.” (Romans 8:28)

We may not understand God’s big plan, but we should trust that He has one for us! Everything in our lives happens that way for a reason. He desires for us to trust Him each step we take.

It’s easy to trust God when things are going well, but we must learn to believe in Him in all times, good or bad. This was tough for me personally. I had a hard time understanding this scripture after losing my son Steffan. I thought there was nothing good about losing him! I literally wanted to rip that scripture out of my Bible.

But thankfully, God lovingly began to work in my life, healing my heart. After a period of time, I discovered there were some good things that came from our loss. Several young people gave their hearts to Jesus after he left us. That was good. From my grief, I wrote my book that has helped many. That was good. I’m so thankful that God sees the big picture of my life and always helps me make the best choices.

“Trust in him at all times, oh people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.” Psalm 62:8)

He will be there for us through it all. No matter what we’re experiencing at the present, He is with us. We might not “feel” His presence at the moment, but we just have to hold on to His Word that He is with us and will never forsake us! Sin separates us from God. It doesn’t separate God from us. It separates us from Him. He is there! Sin will cause us to pull away from Him. When you recognize this, I encourage you to run, not walk, back to Him. Like the Bible story of the prodigal son, you’ll find that God, your Father, will be running toward you with open arms!

“Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord God is an everlasting rock.” (Isaiah 26:4)

Are you discouraged? Do you feel all alone? Are you confused? Is stress trying to overtake you?

The answer is always Jesus! He’ll calm your storm and offer comfort and healing for your pain. He will be by your side during good and bad times!

I encourage you to pray and spend time with Him! He has your answers!

Prayer changes everything!

Jesus is the answer!

Jesus is your answer!
