Midway M. B. Church will host its 132nd Year Church Appreciation on September 16th. Come and enjoy the day with us.
Please remember the Parker and Flanigan Families. Brother William “Bill” Flanigan made his transition into his heavenly home on last Saturday. His arrangements were Saturday at Mt. Carmel M. B. Church. Holifield Funeral Home oversaw all arrangements.
Please remember his wife Cassandra in her time of need. I will say this for her. She has been a good and faithful servant. She carried William with her and took excellent care of him. They were at the Century Family Reunion the last of June. William was an impeccably dresser, she kept him in his style of dressing, until his end. Again to that Cassandra Thank You.
Brother Dewayne Cox is still in University Medical Center. He has had surgery last week. Remember him, his wife Annett and their children, Marty and Victoria in your prayers.
Sympathy to the Young family in the passing of Blondie Young. She was eulogized on last Saturday at Mapp Funeral Home Chapel. She was laid to rest at Lovelady cemetery in Forest.
Sympathy to the Patrick and Johnson family in the passing of Latosha Patrick Johnson. Her services were held on last Saturday at Mapp Funeral Home Chapel. Her interment was at Lovelady Cemetery. Please remember the family in your prayers, especially her children.
