Sympathy is given to the Beamon family in the passing of Larry Beamon. He presently resided in Kansas. His brother Dwight Beamon had motored to see him about two weeks ago. Dwight had remained by his side until his transition into glory. His arrangements are incomplete at my press deadline. His siblings that remain in Scott County are George Beamon, Marshal Beamon, Diane Beamon and Dwight Beamon. A first cousin that returned home and lives here is George McDonald. Remember the family in your prayers.
Thomas and Dr. Locord Wilson spent Thomas’ 70th birthday in the great city of Boston, Massachusetts. They enjoyed the sightseeing, the many different foods, other entertainments, and all in all had a great time celebrating Tom’s upcoming birthday.
Jennie Clay, Dr. Lorraine Dozier and Elyse Clay had a wonderful time celebrating Dr. Lorraine Dozier’s birthday. They motored to Milwaukee for a week. While there they enjoyed so many of the festivities. Alex McClendon and Elyse Clay spent some of their time in Chicago, IL. They also toured several wonderful sights in St. Louis, Missouri.

Remember Willie Peavy and his wife Violet Peavy in your prayers. Willie spent several days in the hospital, was able to come home, but he was only able to stay for a short time, then he was readmitted into the hospital. He is home now doing well. Please remember them in your prayers.
Rev. Randy Lewis and his siblings, motored to Indianapolis to see their mom’s only living brother. They had a safe and wonderful trip.
