Christmas Dinner is Sunday at Midway
Navonteque Strong played Line Backer in the Bernard Blackwell Mississippi North/South Allstar game. Had six tackles and one forced fumble. The game ended in a 0-0 tie with neither offense scoring. Congratulations Navonteque.
Midway M. B. Church will serve their Christmas Dinner and celebrate Christmas with a program on the Fourth Sunday immediately after regular worship service.

I attended the Jackson State University Christmas Social. It was a really nice affair. Good music, plenty of food and the socializing was great.
The Lone Pilgrim District Women’s President Robbye Crosby made her transition into glory on last Saturday in Houston,TX at the cancer center. She had fought a good fight.
Her services are entrusted to Myrick Funeral Home of Carthage. Tentatively scheduled visitation will be Friday with services Saturday at Galilee M B Church in the Galilee community.
Robbye was a retired teacher and Assistant principal for South Leake High School in Walnut Grove, MS. After retirement she served on the Leake County School Board and she was an AKA.
